6-4-2010 /6-5-2010

Approximately 30 fraters and family met up at Upper Crust Pizza behind front page cafe in Jonesboro to kick off the goat roast weekend.  For a lot of us it was our first time in the New Upper Crust Pizza and we all had a great time visiting and catching up on the good times. 

On Saturday the 5th we had 8 teams play in the annual Beta-Psi TKE Golf tournament and was another huge success, the final totals have not been tallied but we will have netted around $1,000 for the Beta-Psi Scholarship fund!  Thank you to all of the sponsors and participants!

Following the golf tournament in our usual football tailgate spot we had the Annual Goat Roast.  We also want to thank all of those that made the goat roast possible this year!  With another goat roast/golf tournament weekend behind us we will start planning for next year where Sage Meadows is already booked for the Golf tournament and the Goat Roast will be planned as well for all fraters!  We hope to see you at one or both of the events next year. 

After the Goat Roast the board members had a quick meeting to get things organized for the next issue of the bond which will contain an outline of the football tailgate schedule/menu and steps we have to take to get the Beta-Psi chapter back on campus in the FALL OF 2011!
