Message from the
Beta-Psi Alumni Association President
Members and Friends of Beta-Psi,
Welcome to the Beta-Psi TKE Alumni
Association website! In these page you can find plenty of
information about what the Alumni Association is up to these
days, as well as information on how you can get involved and
participate. Whether you put in time, money, or muscle,
your help is greatly appreciated by your fellow members and
future members that will see and appreciate the hard work that
we do today, in order to be prepared for a successful chapter in
the future.
I would like
to take this opportunity to personally ask you for your
involvement, at any level, with your Beta-Psi Alumni
Association. It has been said that 80% of the work is done
by 20% of the members of any organization, but I think this may
be different for our group. With over 1300 members, and
many of them are local, it seems that we should be able to have
more than 260 men showing up at our events and paying dues each
year. Tau Kappa Epsilon says that we are
not for wealth, rank, or honor, but for
personal worth, and character.
As a Beta-Psi Teke I know that these words may ring more true to
you than other Tekes across the nation. There is a bond in
this chapter that, personally, I have never felt anywhere else.
Since you are a man of personal worth and character, I feel
obligated to ask you to call a fraternity brother you went to
school with and catch up on each other’s lives. Then I
want you both to attend at least one Beta-Psi event in the next
year, maybe donate to the scholarship or restart fund, or
perhaps just pay your $25 annual dues. Then I want you to
sit back and smile, and know that you have contributed to
something great, and it will be better because you were a part
of it.
Thank you all for everything that
you have done, and I look forward to hearing your stories
sometime soon.
YITB,
Frater C. Nathan Gastineau
